THE POINTER PALACE MEMORIAL FUND

Our dear friend, Patty Goodwin, has done everything to give abandoned birddogs a chance at finding a new family. Throughout all of her setbacks, she has continued to provide a loving and nuturing foster home experience to many birddogs. She is an inspiration to all that are lucky enough to know her. Now, it's our turn to help Patty.

We have set up a Pointer Palace Memorial Fund to honor the memories of her companions, Jesse James (GSP) and Eightball (GSP).

TO MAKE A DONATION:
There are a few options...
1. Send the checks to me, Lisa Floros, and I will do all of the leg
work for Patty. Please make the checks payable to Lisa Floros and write Patricia Goodwin in the memo line.
2. Send the checks directly to the bank. Payable to
Cash or National City.
Put Patricia Goodwin Fund in the memo line.

THE EMAIL THAT BROKE MANY HEARTS AND MOTIVATED US TO HELP

It's with heavy heart that I write this. I just heard that Patty found Eightball. He was hit by a car three miles from home and appears to have died instantly.

All of you that know Patty knows what she has gone through these last few months. The loss of Jesse James, her healer, her companion, her strength. Then getting injured from the dog fight and having to give up Sage. Losing her job two weeks ago, as you all know and now Eightball. She is devastated to say the least, but more than that, she really needs help.

Have a Great Day :o)
Pat

THE EMAIL THAT TOUCHED US...

My Eightball, 5 year old unaltered GSP, ticked with liver patches, wearing an orange collar with his rabies tag and name tag with phone numbers and an orange electronic collar went missing at 8:30 AM Sunday 8/12/07. I am desperate to find him. He was last seen on the Buckhart County Rd black top at 1 PM which is 2 miles or so from home. He is lost.
We were taking our Sunday morning walk and he and Buck took off after what I think was a deer. Buck showed up at home approximately 30 minutes later but I have been searching all day and have been unable to find Eightball except for the one sighting by a girl that lives near the yard he was in at the time.
Please pray for my baby and me. I just have to find him.

THE POINTER PALACE & PATTY

The Pointer Palace is the home of a dog lover with a huge heart! Our dear friend and fellow rescuer, Patty Goodwin, is the owner of the Pointer Palace. As with most Americans, tough times have hit too close to home for Patty and her Pointers. Unfortunately for Patty, the tought times and tragedy keep coming.
